Introduction

Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve is a beautiful scenic area that covers 225 square kilometers of inland desert ecosystem, which accounts for 5% of the total land area of Dubai. Here, tourists can enjoy a variety of wildlife, such as Arabian gazelles, sand gazelles, and mountain gazelles. In addition, 38 species of native mammals and reptiles from the Arabian Peninsula have been introduced, including Arabian rabbits, sand foxes, Arabian red foxes, and wildcats of Gordon. The area also serves as a guardian of desert shrubs, providing a thriving home for shrubs.
