Introduction

Kata Viewpoint (also known as Karon Viewpoint), located on the top of the hill at Kata Beach, is one of the best places on Phuket to enjoy the sunset. On sunny days, the viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the three bays: Kata, Karon, and Kata Noi. In addition, there are many small restaurants near Kata Beach offering local cuisine and fresh seafood. If you are willing to drive a few kilometers to the top of the island to enjoy the food, you can also enjoy the breathtaking sunset by the sea at the restaurant. From the viewpoint, you can gaze over Kata and Karon beaches, appreciate different shades of blue in the sea, and watch the ocean stretch towards the horizon.
