Introduction

On the banks of the Siang River about 6.8 kilometers from its mouth, there is a beautiful mangrove forest that is indispensable for maintaining the ecological balance of Mendan. By exploring the mangroves along the Simeng River, you can observe the complex root structures and understand the important role they play in the ecosystem. You can also see silver leaf monkeys shuttle between the branches, lizards and snakes wandering among the trees, emerald birds and purple herons flying in the sun. Under the water, you will see reef fish, mudskippers, crabs, shrimp, lobsters, snails, and clams. This is a rare ecology and biology class.

Visiting hours: Day tour departures at 8:00am, 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm
Night tour departs at 7:30pm.

Transportation

Bookings can be made at the reception desk of each hotel, and round-trip transportation and insurance fees are included in the tour fee. There are dedicated vehicles available to transport guests to and from each hotel, with departures for groups of 2 or more. The entire journey takes approximately 2 hours.
