Transportation
It is very convenient to take a boat from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island. There are many trips every day from 9 am to 4 pm, almost every hour, which is much more convenient than the 2 trips per day to Redang Island. The boat fare for the speedboat is 70 MYR per person round trip, and you also need to buy a national marine park ticket for 5 MYR per person before boarding the boat. The boat captain will ask everyone's destination before departure and then send them to different beaches in order, allowing us to experience the different scenery of Perhentian Island's various beaches. To leave Perhentian Island, you need to inform your hotel owner of your return time one day in advance, and the owner will call the boat company to come and pick you up. You need to show the hotel owner your boat ticket because there is more than one boat company. The boat ticket indicates that you will return at 8 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm each day, but the actual departure time will vary because the boat will pick up passengers from each hotel one by one.
