Introduction

Dubai Museum is located in Al Fahidi Fort, built in 1787 and the oldest building in Dubai. The museum, established in 1971, showcases a diverse collection of artifacts and life-sized dioramas depicting the daily life of Dubai before the discovery of oil. The galleries display traditional Arab houses, mosques, markets, date palm farms, and desert and marine life. In addition, there is a pearl diving exhibition featuring the weights, scales, and sieves used by pearl merchants, as well as artifacts from African, Asian, and local archaeological sites dating back 3,000 years. The museum provides a memorable journey showcasing Dubai's history and cultural heritage.
