Introduction

The military ship island is a "must-visit" place in the Mariana Islands. The circumference of the island is only 1.5 kilometers, and it takes less than half an hour to circumnavigate the island. Here, there are the remains of Japanese warships and fighter jets from the Pacific War, which represent typical diving spots for observing sunken ships and planes. The large sunken ships are about 40 meters long, with colorful soft corals surrounding the hulls, and the windows and hatches are all covered with soft corals, with countless colorful tropical fish swimming around, making it a sight to behold. It is said that during World War II, the US military mistook this small island for a warship. After a fierce bombardment, they discovered that it was actually an island, and thus named it Military Ship Island. The nearby waters are coral reefs, and the clear tropical waters are filled with tropical fish, making it a place where people can easily lose track of time. If you want to experience the fun of snorkeling, it is recommended to bring your own equipment (which can also be purchased on Saipan Island). The coral island is right next to Military Ship Island and only about 10 minutes away by speedboat from Saipan Island. Although the island is very small, with a circumference of only 2 kilometers, the white sandy beaches, lush green vegetation, and colorful tropical fish still provide an unforgettable experience. The central area is surrounded by tropical plants, always reminding people of romantic couples. The island is surrounded by coral reefs, and the clear and transparent seawater presents a fantastic color under the sunlight. This is the best destination for honeymooners, where for $35 per person (including boat fare and insurance), they can spend a sweet time together. Have fun on Military Ship Island and Coral Island, and leave behind beautiful memories.
