Introduction
At the northwest corner of Tianning Island lies a magical beach, the beloved Star Sand, where tourists can't bear to leave. Locals believe that finding such Star Sand can bring good luck. It is worth mentioning that this is also the beach where the U.S. military landed during World War II. At that time, the U.S. sent a large number of aircraft carriers and deployed 210,000 soldiers, while the Japanese defenders only had 40,000. Thus, the battle ended within nine days.
