Introduction
In Singapore, there is a street named after the Gelam tree, which grows in the local swampy area, also known as Kampong Glam Street. This is a settlement area for Singaporean Muslims, and every year, Muslims from all over the island gather here to hold street celebrations on the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, making the street full of lively and festive atmosphere, like a carnival. The shops and buildings along the way are full of Arab-style features, and there is also a famous Sultan Mosque on this street. Transportation Take the MRT to EW12 Bugis, and walk in the northeast direction for about 5 minutes upon exiting the exit to arrive.
