Introduction

The East Peak of Huashan, also known as Chaoyang Peak, is located on one of the main peaks of Huashan with an altitude of 2090 meters. It consists of one main and three subordinate peaks, with the peak where Chaoyang Terrace is located being the highest, Yünv Peak in the west, Shilou Peak in the east, and Botai to the south. The peaks are orderly and beautiful. The ancient saying of the three peaks of Huashan refers to the East, West, and South peaks, and Yünv Peak is a part of the East Peak. Nowadays, Yünv Peak is called the Central Peak and is separately regarded as the main peak of Huashan.

Transportation
The attraction is located within the Huashan Scenic Area. There are several ways to get to the Huashan Scenic Area: 1. Take a train to Huashan Station, then transfer to a bus for 3 yuan to reach the scenic area, or take a taxi for about 15-20 yuan. 2. If arriving at Huashan North Station (high-speed rail station), there is a tourist bus in front of the station that can take you to the Huashan "Visitor Center" or Huashan Yuquan Court (trailhead). Tourist bus is 10 yuan per person. 3. At the East Square of Xi'an Railway Station, take the tourist bus "Y1 Route" for about 25 yuan. It departs from East Square of Xi'an Railway Station at 8:00 and passes by Xiyue Temple, and the final stop is the Yuquan Court trailhead. The return trip from Yuquan Court is at 17:00, which lasts about 2 hours. It is not operational in the offseason (January to March). In addition, there are many buses direct from Xi'an Railway Station to Huashan, operated by the public transport company, for about 30 yuan per person. 4. At Xi'an Chengdong Coach Station, there are multiple long-distance buses running to Huaying City every day from 7:00 to 19:15, about every 15 minutes. There will be a stop at Huashan during the journey. You need to inform the driver that you want to get off at "Huashan". To get to the East Peak: Depart from the entrance of the Huashan Scenic Area, take a scenic area electric car to reach the entrance of Yuquan Court, and then begin the hiking journey. First, climb the North Peak (the North Peak is the transit station for walking to all peaks), pass through Jinlock Pass, Canglong Ridge, and the Middle Peak. After coming down from the Middle Peak, you can start climbing the East Peak.
