Introduction
The most steep peak on Mount Huashan is the West Peak, which reaches a height of 2082 meters. The name Lianhua Peak comes from a giant rock on the peak's summit that resembles a lotus flower. This is the scene from the legend of Chisongzi splitting the mountain to rescue the Three Saints in the "Baolian Lantern". A straight crack at the edge of the giant rock is named "Fupi Shi". Climbing up the West Peak, you can enjoy many scenic spots such as Cuiyun Palace, Fupi Shi, Zhaxing Chen, Sheshen Cliff, Juling Zu and Yanggong Ta. The scenery here is extremely beautiful.
