Introduction

The name of Te'cheng Island comes from ancient Yue language, meaning "harmonious place". The island's residents have made a living from fishing for generations. Te'cheng Island has a mild and pleasant climate, with an average temperature of 21-22 degrees Celsius throughout the year. The air is fresh, making it an ideal leisure resort. The island has more than 1,000 acres of nationally protected mangrove forests, which are almost 500 years old, as well as the historical Xiandai Temple and Anti-Japanese Revolution Site. Additionally, there are white sandy beaches and strange red rocks (volcanic rocks), which not only have high scientific research value but also form beautiful scenery. There are also nearly a hundred towering ancient banyan trees and unevenly distributed tropical shrubs on the island. The beach is three kilometers long, and the nearby thousands of acres of natural mangrove forests are also protected by the state. The clear and transparent seawater is refreshing and delightful.
