Introduction
In the ancient town built on the banks of the Shaoxing River, the north bank is a bustling commercial market, while the south bank is a residential area, with many stone bridges connecting the two banks. Along the old streets by the river, there are many artisans and ancient shops where they can make brown sugar and wooden barrels. Among them, the Xuchang Soy Sauce Garden is the most flavorful, and visitors can visit the soy sauce drying field. Historical buildings such as the City God Temple and the former site of the Bank of China are also great places to visit. The Shaoxing Shiyebowu Museum exhibits the daily necessities, diaries and other items of the Shaoxing teachers, allowing people to have a deeper understanding of their history. In addition, the La Chang sausage and soy sauce in Anchang are also famous. In addition to the strong local flavor of the social drama and folk proclamation singing during the annual La Yue Festival, there is also a lively water wedding fleet.
