Introduction

Larung Gar Buddhist Academy is one of the world's largest Buddhist academies, with thousands of monk dormitories scattered on the slopes, forming a spectacular scene. If you stand southwest of the prayer wheel, you can see the mountainside covered with prayer flags overlooking the entire Buddhist academy. Here, you can take a complete view of the entire Buddhist academy. With the main prayer hall as the center, the slopes are where the monks live, while the nuns' gathering place is below the slope. In addition, there are some restaurants and shops next to the main hall. The entire Buddhist academy consists of crimson Tibetan-style houses that stretch for several kilometers and are home to tens of thousands of monks and nuns, truly a magnificent sight.
