Introduction

Here is the former residence of Jia Yi, a prose writer in the Western Han Dynasty, named Jia Taifu Ci. It was built in 1465 AD and now only one ancestral hall remains. According to legend, there is a well in the alley in front of the ancestral hall, which Jia Yi is said to have personally dug. The well has a pot-shaped opening, smaller at the top and bigger at the bottom, and is known as "Taifu Well" by the locals. The current residence was built in modern times and displays "The Life of Jia Yi" exhibition inside, where one can learn about Jia Yi's life experiences.
