Introduction

This is the largest historical art museum in Hunan Province, collecting a large number of precious cultural relics. Among them, the cultural relics of the Ma Wangdui Han Tomb and the Shang and Zhou Bronze Vessels are the treasures of the museum. The exhibition hall displays a series of exquisite cultural relics, such as the thin and light muslin single clothes, the intact printed cotton robes, the painted lacquerware silk paintings, as well as various wooden figurines, musical instruments and weapons. In addition, visitors can also see the preserved female corpse and its internal organs in the basement, the restored giant coffins and the No. 3 tomb pit and No. 2 burial mound preserved at the Ma Wangdui site.
