Introduction
Treasure Island is one of the locations featured in CCTV's special series "Treasure Hunt in Nanao Island". Legend has it that this is the place where Wu Ping hid his treasure. The island is composed of natural granite rocks stacked on top of each other, with winding paths, interlocking caves and pleasant shade. It is said that before fleeing in defeat, Wu Ping buried 18 pots of gold and silver treasures stolen from his enemies in Treasure Island or in the surrounding area where "the tide rises and cannot be submerged, and the tide recedes to a depth of three feet." However, to this day, no one has discovered the secret of this treasure, becoming an unsolved mystery. The name "Treasure Island" comes from this legend. Treasure Island also has many attractions, such as Wu Ping's hidden gold spot, Wu Ping's sister stone statue, umbrella pavilion, fishing platform, cliff stone carvings, Tianqiao and strange stone caves.
