Introduction
Zhenhu Lake National Wetland Park, located in the Li Xiahe area of central Jiangsu, is known as a "pearl in the water town". With a total planned area of approximately 26 square kilometers, this scenic area benefits from its original wetland ecology and clean water environment, making it a paradise for rare animals like spotted deer in ancient times. In November 2005, Zhenhu Lake National Wetland Park was approved as a national AAAA-level tourist area and a national wetland park by the National Tourism Administration and the National Forestry Bureau respectively, becoming the first in Jiangsu and second in the country to receive both honors. In addition, nearby villages such as Heheng, Zhentong, and Qiaotou have rich tourism resources. Heheng Village has been named one of the "Global 500 Best" for ecological environment by the United Nations Environment Programme, Zhentong is a famous historical and cultural town in China, and Qiaotou Town has historical and cultural attractions such as the Liu Zhuangyuan former residence. The Zhenhu Lake area is known for its fertile soil, mild climate, and hardworking people, and the abundant water products, especially the "Zhenhu Lake Eight Treasures" (mitten crab, fish cake, shrimp ball, etc.), are considered a masterpiece of water town food culture. In 2007, they were even awarded as one of the "Top Ten Food Festivals in China". Address 1 Zhentong Road, Zhenjiang District, Jiangyan City, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province
