Introduction

This ancient city, with a history of over 600 years, was built along the mountains and by the sea, and is known as "the city on the harbor, with the mountain in the middle of the city". The city wall follows the contours of the mountains, and the city gates are unique in design, while the old houses are built according to the terrain, creating a picturesque scene. As a key coastal defense town, the main feature of Shizhu Ancient City is high ground control of the harbor. Visitors can explore multiple unique venues to learn about fishing culture, business culture, and coastal defense culture, and can also experience fisherman life by weaving fishing nets and making fishing lamps with their own hands.
