Introduction

At Yellow Mountain's North Sea Scenic Area, there is a spot called "Monkey Watching the Sea." It is located on a mountain peak north of Lion Peak and features a cleverly shaped rock that looks like a monkey crouching. From here, visitors can peacefully watch the rolling sea of clouds, hence its name "Monkey Watching the Sea." Since the mountain peak where the rock is located cannot be climbed, visitors can view it from Lion Peak. The best way to get to Lion Peak is via the Yun Gu cable car and then hiking for an hour from the Shuguang Pavilion on the way to the North Sea Hotel.
