Introduction

Established in 1927, Henan Museum is one of the most famous museums in China, which collects a diverse range of cultural relics and displays the historical development of Henan Province over 5,000 years. It is the best window to understand Henan culture, housing more than 140,000 priceless artifacts, including the famous national treasure Lianhe Fanghu from the pre-Qin period. The museum is divided into eight exhibition halls according to chronological order. Every Tuesday to Sunday, the museum hosts performances of ancient Chinese music, which take place at 11:00 in the morning and 16:00 in the afternoon. Each performance lasts approximately 20 minutes and is definitely worth watching.
