Authentic Korean cuisine, but does not include BBQ. It is also one of the more popular restaurants in Chinatown. Offers large meals for two people. Delicious and affordable. Recommended: 1. Boodae Jun-Gol (Army Stew) 2. Stir Fried Pork Belly & Kimchi
Big Star Taqueria
Popular taco shop in the area, often has a wait! But the wait time is not too long, and they will ask for your phone number to notify you when a table is available. In the summer, they have an outdoor seating area, and in the winter, it can be switched to indoor seating. Highly recommend the pork belly.
Cafe Ba Ba Reeba
Classic Spanish tapas, authentic and delicious. Each plate is small, making it perfect for trying a variety of dishes, similar to the way dim sum is enjoyed in Guangdong.
This is a relatively secluded family-run restaurant. The owners are very warm and welcoming. The food tastes great and is very unique. Highly recommend the pita bread, which is baked to perfection.
Joy's Noodles & Rice
Refreshing Thai cuisine, many Americans love to eat pad thai, so Thai restaurants are everywhere; this place has great service and plenty of seating. For appetizers, I recommend their vegetable rolls and fried wonton.
Mughal India
This place offers a lunch buffet option, $13/person; every curry is irresistible, the storefront is small, so be careful not to miss it.
Volare Ristorante Italiano
The food here tastes great, and the service is very professional. The boarding point for the lake sightseeing cruise within the LOOP is not far to the south. You can check the menu on Yelp in advance. If you are not familiar with Italian or the cuisine, you can look at pictures on Google beforehand, which will help with ordering.
