Hilton Colombo Residences
Hilton Colombo Residences is located in the heart of Colombo, near Beira Lake. It is the second property of Hilton Hotels in Sri Lanka and officially opened in 2000. The hotel rooms not only offer views of the bustling cityscape but also provide a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean from one side.
Located near Galle Face Green in Colombo, it has a superior geographical location. The hotel facilities are a bit outdated, but the price is reasonable and the service is good.
Ramada Katunayake Colombo International Airport
This hotel is located near Colombo International Airport. It is not luxurious and is positioned as mid-range, mainly targeting transit passengers. It can be chosen if facilities are not a primary concern.
Taj Samudra Colombo
The location is excellent, situated in the core area of Galle Road where luxury hotels are concentrated. This is the first hotel of Taj in Lanka, utilizing the original colonial architecture and applying Indian luxury design to the details of the hotel. As one of the famous business hotels in Colombo, Taj Samudra Colombo often hosts international conferences and competes with the nearby local luxury hotel Cinnamon Grand. It is also a preferred venue for wedding events.
The Gateway Hotel Airport Garden
A hotel under the mid-range brand Gateway of the Taj Group, it is located among the coconut groves beside the Negombo Lagoon, offering a tranquil and natural environment with a modern and stylish vibe. It is not far from the airport, and many tour groups stay here.
Vivanta by Taj Bentota
A hotel under the luxury hotel brand Vivanta by Taj Group, located at the southern end of Bentota Beach. It is a stylish resort. The rooms have both sea-facing and inland-facing options, with good facilities including a private beach, outdoor swimming pool, spa center, fitness center, and five restaurants (one of which is a Chinese restaurant). The hotel has just completed renovations in the past two years.
Amangalla hotel
The hotel is located in the center of the old town of Galle, formerly the site of the colonial government. In 1865, a British businessman renovated and utilized it, establishing the oldest hotel in Asia, the Oriental Hotel. In 2002, it was acquired by Aman, underwent comprehensive renovations, and was renamed Amangalla. The building retains its original appearance, with an elegant and quiet atmosphere, combined with the facilities and meticulous service that Aman is proud of, allowing visitors to travel back to the colonial era over 200 years ago.
Amanwella
Amanwella is Aman’s second resort in Sri Lanka, opened the same year as Amangalla. 'Wella' means 'beach' in Sinhalese. The resort is located on the beach on the west side of Tangalle, with a bold and open design that blends with the surrounding nature and incorporates Sri Lankan traditions.
