Travel Guide to Genting Highlands, Malaysia

The Genting Highlands, known as the "Monte Carlo of the South", is Malaysia's premier tourism brand. The highlands offer a complete range of entertainment facilities. With an altitude of about 2000 meters and a year-round temperature of around 22°C, it is Malaysia's largest and most famous entertainment center and summer resort. There are five luxury hotels with different styles on the mountain, totaling more than 10,000 comfortable rooms and apartments. There are also over 80 retail stores and 86 restaurants.

Genting Theme Park

Genting World has three theme parks: Genting Outdoor Theme Park, Genting First World Indoor Theme Park, and Water Park. In addition, there are also arcade centers, bowling alleys, 4D animation theaters, cinemas, archery ranges, and more.

First World Hotel

Soaring 6,000 feet above sea level, the five-star international class Genting Hotel, with its 6,118 rooms, is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest hotel. Before the establishment of The Venetian in Las Vegas in January 2008, the First World Hotel was the world's largest hotel and is currently the fourth largest. The First World Hotel consists of two towers, featuring 1,669 standard rooms, 3,307 deluxe rooms, 69 deluxe triple rooms, 493 superior deluxe rooms, and 136 World Club suites.

Genting Arena of Stars

The Genting Arena of Stars is located next to the Genting Highlands Resort Hotel. It is a venue that can accommodate 6,000 people and hosts many concerts and award ceremonies. The first performance held at the Arena of Stars was a concert by Sally Yeh and George Lam in January 1998.

Chin Swee Caves Temple

Chin Swee Caves Temple is located at an altitude of 1,402 meters and covers an area of 28 acres. Built on the hillside, the temple is just a 10-minute drive from Genting Highlands. The temple enshrines the deity Qingshui Zushi from Fujian Province, China, who is renowned for his ability to bring rain and ward off evil.
