The paradise town in Switzerland that you must visit

In springtime Switzerland, a group of leisurely white swans swim on the surface of Lake Lucerne, while the summit of the Jungfrau still carries remnants of winter snow. Exploring the different charms of small towns, one can witness the meticulous craftsmanship of local residents in their own courtyards, as if stepping into a fairytale village inhabited by elves. Scattered in deep valleys and nestled by sparkling lakes, the quaint villages and picturesque towns seem like droplets of pearls accidentally scattered by God.

Interlaken

Nestled between the Jungfrau and Schilthorn mountains, Interlaken boasts natural landscapes distinct from other towns. In winter, many families bring their children to ski on the snowy mountains. This excellent natural ski resort has naturally produced many outstanding skiers. In Switzerland, not knowing how to ski is like Northeasterners not knowing how to ice skate, haha. In summer, with greenery everywhere, many travelers who enjoy mountain hiking come to the town of Interlaken.

Engelberg

Located in a deep valley, it is a very popular holiday destination in central Switzerland. People can experience a variety of sports here, such as skiing, paragliding, bungee jumping, mountain biking, and more.
Murren is nestled in the Alps, and in winter, the entire town is covered with snow, creating a serene atmosphere. You first take a cable car, then switch to a red mountain train that slowly takes you into the town, making it feel like a kingdom from a fairy tale. Visitors to Murren can choose to stay overnight in one of the town's wooden cabins. Waking up in the morning in the Alps and having breakfast facing the snowy mountains is truly delightful.

Spiez

Spiez is an ancient castle town not far from Interlaken. Its train station is situated at a higher elevation, offering a panoramic view of the entire town. From a distance, the castle and the lake complement each other beautifully. Following the winding mountain road down to the town center, you can smell the enticing aroma from the pastry shops from afar. Climbing up the wooden steps of the ancient castle layer by layer, you reach the top and look through the round holes to enjoy the scenery outside. Words cannot describe the beauty of that moment.

Lungern

Lungern is a remote town located next to Lake Wadden. Due to its obscurity, it has fewer tourists. The houses are not closely packed, but each household has a meticulously maintained small garden in front of their home.

Appenzell

Appenzell is known for its gentle hills and pastoral scenery. This small town still preserves traditional customs and festivals. The town is surrounded by beautiful hills, with dense hiking trails crisscrossing the gently rolling slopes of Appenzell. The main features of this town are its car-free central streets, brightly painted houses, and the charming blend of elegant scenery and religious culture.

Lauterbrunnen

Lauterbrunnen, meaning 'Valley of Waterfalls', suggests the grandeur of its scenery. The valley is home to seventy-two waterfalls, the most famous of which is the Staubbach Falls. These waterfalls, plunging from cliffs 300 meters high, are among the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe.

Stein am Rhein

Stein is known as the gem on the Rhine and is one of the most medieval towns in Switzerland. The town is very small, with almost only one main street, but it attracts tourists from all over the world because of the exquisite murals on the exterior walls of its traditional houses.
Weggis is known as the 'Rose Town' of Switzerland. It is located deep in Lake Lucerne, the fourth largest lake in Switzerland, at the foot of Mount Rigi. The town of Weggis has maintained the tradition of growing roses, and every August, it hosts the Rose Festival and crowns a Rose Queen. In the evening of the festival, there is also a fireworks display over Lake Lucerne.

St. Moritz

Surrounded by beautiful forests, lakes, and the Bernina Alps, St. Moritz is renowned for its climate, which is often described as having the 'sparkling champagne atmosphere.' The numerous lakes and the clear blue sky all shine on this beautiful land.
