Yunnan Pudacuo National Park
It is the first national park in mainland China and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. The park consists of Bitahai Nature Reserve, Shudu Lake Scenic Area, Luorong Ethnic Culture Village, and Militang Subalpine Pasture, among other attractions. It is praised as a 'magical fairyland and a romantic fairy tale world.'
Yulong Snow Mountain National Park
Yulong Snow Mountain National Geopark is a national-level scenic spot and a 5A national tourist attraction in China. It is considered a sacred mountain by the Naxi people. The emperor of the Nanzhao Kingdom personally conferred it the title of 'Northern Mountain'. Kublai Khan, the founding emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, honored it as 'Great Sage Northern Mountain, Stabilizer of the Nation and Protector of the Empire'.
Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park
Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park is one of the 'Three Major' national parks in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The park is rich in tourism resources. In addition to the 'national treasure animal' Yunnan golden monkey, visitors can also see clouded leopards, golden eagles, black bears, macaques, golden pheasants, Yulong ferns, single-leaf grass, Yunnan yew, Phoebe trees, golden iron locks, and oil pine spruces, among other rare national flora and fauna.
Meili Snow Mountain National Park
Located at the border of Zayu in Tibet and Deqin in Yunnan, also known as Prince Snow Mountain. Its Chinese name is 'Medicine Mountain', and in Tibetan areas, it is called 'Rongtsen Kawagarbo'. The mountain is rich in various precious medicinal materials. It is the highest peak in Yunnan, a pilgrimage site for Tibetans, a sacred site for the Bon religion, the foremost of the 'Eight Great Sacred Mountains' in Tibetan areas, one of China's 'Top Ten Most Beautiful Mountains', and one of 'China's Top Ten Majestic Peaks'.
Laojun Mountain National Geopark
The national geopark is known as the 'Ancestor of All Mountains in Yunnan Province'. It is said to be named after Taishang Laojun, the founder of Taoism, who practiced alchemy here.
Nujiang Grand Canyon National Park
Composed of the Gaoligong Mountains on the west bank of the Nujiang Grand Canyon and the Biluo Snow Mountains on the east bank, it is the longest, most mysterious, most beautiful, and most primitive and unspoiled oriental canyon in the world.
