Drum Tower Night Market

The night market at Drum Tower Square starts at 5:30 PM. Gradually, the small stalls begin to increase, and by 8:00-9:00 PM, it becomes a bustling market, extremely lively. There are all kinds of snacks and delicacies, with a fragrant aroma filling the air. The stall owners here have naturally good voices, and the variety of snacks are visually appealing, aromatic, and delicious. It truly leaves a pseudo-foodie like me a bit bewildered.
Based on the famous Song Dynasty painting 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival', a large-scale Song Dynasty cultural theme park was constructed. The park highly restores the scenes from the painting, including 8 functional areas and 4 cultural areas. The Northern Song Dynasty's Southern Garden recreates the bustling life of Tokyo, while the Northern Garden recreates the royal gardens and court entertainment of the Song Dynasty. The garden's architecture is resplendent with gold and jade. The park staff are dressed in Song Dynasty costumes, giving a sense of traveling through time. In addition to these, there are also wonderful situational performances.

Longting Park

Located at the northern end of Zhongshan Road in Kaifeng City, this ancient architectural complex, built according to the layout of the Qing Dynasty's Wanshou Palace, was once the site of the Northern Song Dynasty's imperial city. From the stone railings, you can overlook the scenery of the ancient city of Kaifeng. Inside the hall, you can see cultural relics on display. This is a world-renowned place for chrysanthemum appreciation. Every autumn, a grand chrysanthemum festival is held here, during which the park is magnificent, with chrysanthemums of various shapes and colors blooming in competition.
