Mariinsky Theatre

Alexandrinsky Theatre
This is one of the oldest theatres in Russia. The theatre building is a magnificent classical structure, with six Corinthian columns adorning the front. There is also a statue of Apollo in the colonnade. This building is one of the most famous landmarks in St. Petersburg.
Mikhailovsky Theatre
Mikhailovsky Theatre is located to the west of the Russian Museum. The interior is lavishly decorated and frequently hosts ballet performances. The original design of this ancient building was created by Alexander Pavlovich Bryullov.
