Siji Minfu Zhajiang Noodle Restaurant
Siji Minfu is most famous for its roast duck, but it has opened a separate noodle restaurant for Zhajiang noodles near Qianmen Street, showing its confidence in its own Zhajiang noodles. The noodles are made with great precision, with meticulous attention to the noodles, sauce, and toppings. The taste is well-balanced and delicious.
Dexinzhai
Dexinzhai is an old restaurant with nearly 20 years of history. The decor looks more like a homestyle restaurant, giving a very friendly feeling. The fried sauce noodles here are said to be a family secret recipe passed down from the owner's grandmother, continuously improved and refined to this day.
Shunxin House
This old restaurant, not far from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, has been open for nearly twenty years. The owner is a native Beijinger, and the regulars are also from Beijing. Although it is a noodle shop, the place is large and can accommodate five to six hundred people at the same time.
Fangzhuanchang No. 69
This noodle shop, located deep in the hutong, is only open at noon and in the evening. Due to its small size, long queues form every weekend.
Jingwei Zhai
From the interior decoration to the attire of the waitstaff, Jingwei Zhai exudes the authentic flavor of old Beijing. In addition to Zhajiangmian and Beijing cuisine, their roast duck is also a signature dish.
Haiwanju
Haiwanju is an old Beijing-style restaurant. The handmade noodle chef's workstation is set among the diners, so guests who want to watch the noodle-making process up close can sit around the workstation, enjoying their noodles while watching.
Beiping Lou
Beiping Lou is clean and elegantly decorated, with warm and attentive service. The zhajiangmian (noodles with soybean paste) is also affordable and delicious. The restaurant offers seasonal fruits to each table, even if you only order a bowl of zhajiangmian~
Chengnan Residence
Chengnan Residence has prepared mushroom and egg vegetarian sauce for diners who do not eat meat. The mushroom flavor is very rich, while the meat sauce, perhaps in pursuit of tenderness, is only blanched and not fried for a long time, making it a bit fatty. Each bowl of noodles contains 250 grams of raw noodles, making it very substantial.
