Beidaihe Wetland Park
Hebei Beidaihe National Wetland Park is located in the central coastal area of Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is a wetland ecosystem formed by the Beidaihe wetland tidal flat, the Xinhe river system, and 15,000 acres of coastal shelter forest. The park mainly consists of wetland types such as shallow sea waters, intertidal sandy and rocky beaches, estuarine waters, permanent rivers, ponds and lakes, and marshes. The total area of the park is 306.7 hectares, of which the wetland area is 165.67 hectares. It includes various wetland types such as coastal and marine wetlands, river wetlands, marsh wetlands, and artificial wetlands. Its unique geographical location and rich wetland and forest resources make it a paradise for many rare bird species and a green barrier for the urban ecological environment.
Qianshuiwan
The beach here is the finest and softest among all the bathing beaches in Beidaihe. There is also a wooden pier extending into the sea. The beach is fully equipped with leisure and entertainment facilities such as deck chairs, water bicycles, and beach motorcycles.
