The Tsingtao Beer Museum is located in the old factory buildings of the Tsingtao Brewery from a hundred years ago. To promote the beer culture of Qingdao, the Qingdao municipal government decided to transform Dengzhou Road into Beer Street, which is the road in front of the old site of the Qingdao Brewery (No. 56 Dengzhou Road). Dengzhou Road is a historic street where the century-old Qingdao beer culture originated. The renovation of Beer Street starts from Yan'an Second Road in the east and extends to Guangrao Road in the west, with a total length of nearly 1000 meters. The street highlights the beer theme through the construction of characteristic beer bars, the opening of a beer museum, and the establishment of cultural and leisure venues. All the buildings on the street have been renovated and illuminated in a European style, and the decorations of the shops on both sides of the road blend seamlessly with the entire street. The most eye-catching feature is the color of the road—green, making it the first colored road in the province. Currently, Beer Street offers restaurants that serve beer.
