Mulan Grassland is located in Huangpi District and is one of the rare grassland-style tourist areas in Central China. It is said that Mulan Grassland was the place where Hua Mulan practiced horse riding, martial arts, and archery during her childhood. The area is spacious, with buildings featuring strong Mongolian characteristics. The scenery is especially beautiful when the Gesang flowers are in bloom. On the grassland, there are animals such as alpacas and ponies. Visitors can also enjoy horse riding, archery, and watch grassland-themed song and dance performances as well as equestrian shows.
Mulan Tianchi
Mulan Tianchi is a reservoir in the mountains. The scenic area is characterized by clear mountains and waters, dense forests, and summer temperatures lower than the urban area, making it suitable for escaping the heat. It is said to be the hometown of Hua Mulan's grandmother. Here, you can walk through the forest, take a boat ride, or stroll by the water. The scenic area also features a meadow with entertainment activities such as grass skiing and slides.
Hidden in the northern end of Wuhan, Jinligou is a Tujia ethnic village and a cultural tourism area in Wuhan, as well as a natural landscape resort. The scenic area is composed of three parts: the lakeside cultural experience area, the canyon sightseeing area, and the village king cultural exhibition area. Yaojia Mountain was the site of the administrative and political organs of the Fifth Division of the New Fourth Army during the War of Resistance Against Japan. The scenic area is located in Yaoshan Village, Caidian Street, Huangpi District, Wuhan City, with the main peak, Huanggu Stone, at an altitude of 869 meters. It is 89 kilometers from the central urban area of Wuhan and 18 kilometers from the Xiahe exit of the Jingzhu Expressway, making transportation convenient. The planned area of the scenic spot is 21,800 mu, divided into the Red Yao Mountain Revolutionary Old Area and the Green Valley Leisure Resort Area, with 35 developed attractions. It integrates the Red Yao Mountain 'New Fourth Army Fifth Division History Exhibition Hall', the valley landscape stone scenery canyon style sightseeing, the East Valley outdoor expansion mountaineering adventure, the South Chong jungle crossing red leaf exploration, the Yao Mountain old village rural leisure residence, and the source (hot spring) health resort into a 'Red and Green' characteristic tourist area.
