Lao Dong Bento
Located in the main hall on the first floor of Taipei Station, Lao Dong Nostalgic Bento looks quite nostalgic, so I decided to give it a try. After all, I was a bit hungry after the train ride. Overall, the taste of Lao Dong's bento is quite good. The rice is of moderate softness, and the braised chicken leg with vegetables is a well-balanced combination of meat and vegetables. If you get off at Taipei Station, you can buy one to try. It's much better than fast food in mainland China by several hundred times, and it only costs around 3 USD, which is quite affordable.
The Taiwan Railway Bento Shop can mostly be found in high-speed rail or Taiwan Railway stations. The taste is slightly inferior to Lao Dong's, but it is still a good option for food on the train.
