Tianshan Tianchi
Tianshan Tianchi, a World Natural Heritage site and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, was historically known as 'Yaochi'. The lake's clear waters resemble a mirror, and the scenery is picturesque, especially in summer when the area is lush and green.
Xiwangmu Ancestral Temple
Xiwangmu Ancestral Temple (Yaochi Palace) is located on the eastern shore of Tianchi in the Tianshan Mountains. It is one of the oldest and highest-altitude Taoist temples in Xinjiang. Named after the worship of Xiwangmu, it is a place for the inheritance of Taoism and Xiwangmu culture.
It is the highest peak in the eastern section of the Tianshan Mountains. In Mongolian, Bogda means 'sacred mountain', 'holy mountain', or 'spiritual mountain'. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was the nomadic area of the Oirat Mongols and the Khoshut tribe. The terrain is rugged, but the scenery is beautiful.
Feilongtan
Also known as Dongxiaotianchi, it is located in the northeastern valley of Tianchi, 500 meters east of the main lake of Tianchi. It was formed by the outflow of the main lake of Tianchi. According to legend, it is the lair of the little dragon, hence the name Feilongtan. It is also said that this is the place where the Queen Mother of the West bathes and combs her hair, so it is also known as 'Shuxijian' and 'Yuxianpen'.
West Little Heavenly Lake is located by the roadside two kilometers below Heavenly Lake. The water surface is shaped like a full moon, and the pool water is clear and deep, with reflections in the pool creating an interesting scene.
