There is often a long queue. You pay first and then get a ticket, which you use to collect the hot and sour noodles. The prepared hot and sour noodles have thick and smooth rice noodles, and are both sour and spicy. Ti Kan Dou Hua
Ti Kan Dou Hua, located diagonally opposite the Academy of Fine Arts, has a small storefront but a spacious interior. The restaurant features simple wooden tables and benches, and most of the diners are local residents. However, the Dou Hua rice served here is truly exceptional. The tofu is tender yet firm, with a smooth texture. Diners can customize their dipping sauce with pickled chili made from green peppers or chili oil according to their taste. Despite the delicious food, the hygiene conditions in the restaurant leave something to be desired.
