This area is also known as a cosmetics street, hosting multiple branches of famous Korean cosmetic brands. Additionally, Myeongdong is renowned for its diverse food options, including street snacks like fried pork cutlet, knife-cut noodles, fried chicken, stir-fried squid, as well as traditional Korean restaurants like 'Tosokchon' serving Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup).
Myeongdong Cathedral is Korea's first Catholic church built in pure Gothic architectural style with an antique charm. Behind the cathedral is a resting area for visitors—a great spot to relieve travel fatigue.
