Nanzhishan Bookstore · Little Forest
In addition to the viewing terrace Nightfall Board, 'Little Forest' also features a forest reading area called Nymph's Sylva. Compared to the 'Origin' store which has 8 rooms, 'Little Forest' only has 4 book rooms available for accommodation. The bookshelves in the rooms are stocked with carefully selected books by the bookstore. Each book room also comes with a private courtyard or terrace, aiming to provide guests with an unforgettable forest reading experience.
Mont Mirage
Mont Mirage combines coffee, Sichuan cuisine, and homestay, and is a glass mansion hidden at the top of Nanshan Mountain. The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush green trees, giving a sense of overlooking all other mountains. Here, from any angle, you can discover different sceneries.
Chunyang Tavern
In Chongqing, the best eateries are often those unassuming little places, and Chunyang Tavern in Yuzhong District is one such place. The predecessor of Chunyang Tavern was 'Chunyang Restaurant', which started in 1986 and has a history of over 30 years. It is a prominent figure in the tavern circle. The tavern is very small, and the owner has utilized every possible space, such as the corridor, the kitchen entrance, and under the stairs, filling every possible spot with tables. Although the environment is quite ordinary, it does not affect its booming business. You will always see a large crowd of people sitting by the roadside waiting for a table. You might wonder why these people are here. The reason is simple: the food is delicious, and the drinks are great. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Since it is a tavern, their drinks are the main attraction, with various flavors to choose from, suitable for both men and women. Many customers even buy a few bottles to take home after their meal.
Hide·隐
No. 9, Guangdian Road, Taoyuan Road, Nanping Gulou Yicun. It's unimaginable that in such a down-to-earth street, there is a hidden café full of exotic charm. The shop is transformed from a two-bedroom residential house on the first floor. It looks unremarkable from the outside, but entering inside feels like discovering a new world. The owner is a girl who loves to study INS photography styles. After extensive research, she personally designed a café with the potential to become an internet sensation. The interior is cleverly designed with a hall and two rooms of different styles, allowing guests to book according to their preferences. To make it easier for guests to take photos indoors, the owner thoughtfully prepared a camera. The café mainly offers French desserts and coffee, with exquisite dessert presentations and a carefully matched environment, making it truly high in both appearance and taste.
Shiba Ti Glasses Noodles
Shiba Ti Glasses Noodles is an old shop that opened in 1988. The owner is affectionately called 'Big Glasses' by everyone, hence the name of the shop. The location of the shop is not easy to find, so to avoid unnecessary detours, it is recommended to ask passersby for directions, as the roads in the mountain city are really intricate and sometimes navigation doesn't work. The shop has an old-fashioned decor and the environment is quite average. It has two storefronts, one for dining and one for the kitchen. Despite the modest setting, the place is always crowded with people coming to eat noodles, with every seat taken, and during busy times, even the yard outside is full of people. Glasses Noodles only sells beef noodles, small noodles, and pickled vegetable noodles (if you don't eat noodles, there are rice noodles as an alternative). The must-order dish is the beef noodles. The noodles are cooked to a chewy texture, using top-quality beef that is well-marinated. The beef brisket is in large chunks, with a tender and bouncy texture, not tough to chew. Paired with a red oil broth and napa cabbage, it tastes spicy and delicious. If you find it too spicy while eating, you can have a cup of soy milk, which has no additives and pairs well with the noodles, bringing out the original flavors, making it very enjoyable.
Three Feet Ice Kitchen
Three Feet Ice Kitchen is a dessert and liquor bar filled with Chinese Zen, hidden within an office building, enjoying freedom and tranquility like a delicate treasure. The owners, a couple who are architectural designers, also co-founded the 'WHITECUBE' design studio. The design style of Three Feet Ice is simple and steady, with dim lighting in the space that is just right, making people unconsciously calm and collected with the atmosphere. They use food as a medium, applying their attitude towards art to cuisine, presenting a textured sense of fun and artistic beauty. The 'artwork' that amazes diners is undoubtedly the unique ice cream of Three Feet Ice. If you place it in a display cabinet instead of a dessert plate, you would never realize that this meticulously carved 'piece' is an edible dessert. The all-natural handmade desserts, paired with the privately selected liquors in the store, offer a unique flavor.
S.life Lifestyle Store
By a stroke of luck, I stumbled upon the S.life Lifestyle Store. Upon entering, you'll be amazed to find such a lifestyle store exists in Chongqing; it's truly a wonderful and fortunate discovery. S.life is the third store managed by Xie Jun. Here, you'll find coffee, furniture, plants, and clothing, much like Doraemon's pocket, always full of unexpected surprises. There is no deliberate decoration or space division; everything is simple and comfortable. You can freely move around the store, browse clothes, have some coffee, and just do whatever makes you comfortable. From small plants to large furniture, everything in the store is carefully selected by Xie Jun from various places. He says this is not a café, not a plant store, not a clothing store, and not a furniture store, but a lifestyle store that conveys a way of living. It not only sells lifestyle products but also lets you experience life. Here, you can find what you want, what suits you, and find yourself.

As one of the best-preserved teahouses in Chongqing and a symbol of old Chongqing, 'Jiaotong Teahouse' is one of the few landmarks that retain the original appearance of old Chongqing. The movie 'Crazy Stone' was filmed here, and it has always been loved by art film directors and young photographers. The teahouse still maintains the old-fashioned decoration style of the 1980s, as if the disturbances of the outside world and the changes of time have not affected it in the slightest. The place is bustling with people and full of life. Drinking tea here feels like stepping back into the era of Lao She’s novels, where people drink tea bowl by bowl and exchange information, showcasing the customs and culture of old Chongqing in this small teahouse. This place is beloved by people of all generations. When you see the huge plaque, the old Chinese-style square tables, and long benches, you will be delighted and infected by the lively atmosphere, even wanting to play a game of chess with the elderly.
