This is the only national art museum in Korea that can simultaneously showcase the development of modern and contemporary Korean art as well as global art trends.
It consists of a traditional art museum designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta, a modern permanent exhibition hall designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, and also includes the Samsung Children's Education and Culture Center designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.
It showcases Korea's history and cultural heritage.
This is a cultural park overlooking the East Sea, and it is also home to the Haslla Museum Hotel and Haslla Wedding Hall.
