Orange Isle Scenic Area
Orange Isle, also known as Ju Island or Shuilu Island, is located in the middle of the Xiangjiang River opposite the urban area of Changsha. It is one of the many alluvial islands in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River and the largest inland island in the world. Orange Isle faces Yuelu Mountain to the west and Changsha City to the east, surrounded by water on all sides. It stretches for dozens of miles, with a narrow width of about 40 meters and a wide width of about 140 meters, forming a long island shape. It is one of the important attractions in Changsha. Among them, the Mao Zedong Art Sculpture is located north of Wangjiang Pavilion, facing southeast. Based on the image of Mao Zedong in his youth in 1925, it has a strong visual effect and artistic appeal, making it a must-see for anyone visiting Changsha.
Shiyan Lake is located at the junction of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan, covering an area of 10 square kilometers.
