The campground is scenic, suitable for tent camping or RVs under 27 feet, and is also a great place for group camping.

Johnston Canyon Campground

This campground is an ideal choice for an authentic and rustic camping experience. The campsite is suitable for tent camping and small RVs. The campground is centrally located near the Bow Valley Parkway (Highway 1A), providing easy access to several unique attractions, including Johnston Canyon and the Ink Pots.

Tunnel Mountain Village I Campground

This campground is very close to the town of Banff and features kitchen stoves. You can enjoy mountain views, experience hiking and biking trails, and get a more traditional camping experience. The campground offers a variety of options suitable for different camping preferences and also has several large camping sites.

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground

This campground is specifically designed for trailers and larger RVs (15 meters or 50 feet) and offers full water, electric, and sewage hookups as well as bus service to town. The campsites here are shared sites, offering stunning mountain views and access to biking and hiking trails. Additional services such as food and laundry are also available, and there is a waterslide. Evening interpretive programs are available during the summer.

Tunnel Mountain Village II Campground

This campground is just minutes from town and is suitable for family members, backpackers, and group campers who need more camping space, as well as campers who want electricity but do not have full water, electric, and sewer hookups. The campground is close to local attractions and has a bus service to town. It is open year-round, offering stunning mountain views and access to hiking and biking trails.

Castle Mountain Campground

This campground is small and relatively secluded, with a simple self-service camping area located in a beautiful woodland near the Bow Valley Parkway (Highway 1A). The campsite is suitable for tent camping or small RVs, and campers must register themselves. Additionally, there are opportunities to visit nearby attractions such as Silverton Falls and Johnston Canyon.

Two Jack Lakeside Campground

This rustic self-service campground is just 15 minutes from the town of Banff, near Lake Minnewanka, and located on the beautiful shores of Two Jack Lake. It is ideal for tent camping or small RVs and offers lakeside campsites with beautiful mountain views and opportunities for non-motorized boating. The campground also features ten oTENTik sites managed by Parks Canada.
