Ljubljana Castle was built in the 11th century and is located at the top of Castle Hill in the capital of Slovenia, surrounded by a beautiful forest. Due to its geographical location and the military strategic significance represented by Castle Hill, it has always been a military fortress. From the castle, you can overlook the entire city.
Dragon Bridge, built in 1901, spans the Ljubljanica River and is a landmark of Ljubljana. The most iconic part of the bridge is the bronze winged dragon sculptures at both ends, representing the fire-breathing dragon from Western mythology. This image has now become a symbol of Ljubljana.
The Triple Bridge, also known as the Three Bridges, derives its name from the main bridge and the two side bridges. It spans the oldest bridge over the Ljubljanica River. From 1929 to 1932, the great Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik added the two side bridges to the original stone bridge, forming today's Triple Bridge.
Republic Square is the most famous square in Ljubljana, located near the Parliament building. It is the place where Slovenia declared its independence in 1991. The bronze statue in the center of the square depicts the scene of the declaration of independence.
