Easy, only pre-sale, no on-site ticket sales. There are two ferry companies operating, the one I booked is the small ferry, leaving from Lysekil at 17:45 on July 7th and arriving at Fosnanger. There seems to be another ferry later.

Kolumbus is actually Norled's ferry No. 560, the ship is smaller and cheaper. The latest departure time from Monday to Thursday is 15:30, and there is an additional departure at 17:30 on Fridays and Sundays. It seems like they are closed on Saturdays. Fjord cruises are larger and much more expensive, please check the specific schedules on the website. I didn't pay much attention to this because I wasn't planning to book this ship.
