Just want to ask if it's possible to use offline maps on a mobile phone to travel from Edinburgh to Skye? Will the GPS signal be bad ?

There's no signal in some places on Sky Island, but it's fine in other places. Download offline maps as a precaution.

No problem, buy an extra paper map for safety, and you can see it clearly all the way

I have no problem going to William Castle. You just need to guide it well, and as long as it doesn't turn off, it's fine. Google Maps is fine and very useful.

I used Google Maps and everything was fine all the way.

Mobile signal and GPS signal are two different things.
