If you get stuck in the wilderness, call the rental company and look for a similar car to see if you can borrow a spare tire. If not, drive slowly to the nearest repair shop. Also make sure your car really doesn't have a spare tire, or you won't find one.

Cars without spare tires are usually equipped with run-flat tires, which can be driven at low speed to a gas station or service station safely after a tire burst.
