From Reykjavik to Golden Circle takes 3-4 hours (without snorkeling). If you plan to go to the South Shore the next day, it's recommended to stay in Seljavellir that night. On the way from Golden Circle to Seljavellir, you can also see Faxi waterfall and Kerid volcano lake.
