Not many people check, but I don't recommend it. I only drank a small amount of beer in one day. The highest speed I've driven is 220 and I didn't get a ticket. Actually, most tickets come from parking. The infrastructure is too poor and the enforcement cost is too high. Basically, there are no police officers catching offenders, it's just about safety. In fact, the infrastructure in Europe is very poor, and it mainly relies on police enforcement. As long as you're not caught by the police, you're fine.
