It seems like a lot of people say that tires in the UK are prone to blowouts, is that true ?

I rent a Vauxhall, but they gave me a Golf Estate. The car is spacious, and it has engine start-stop and multiple driving modes. The tyres are brand new as the car has less than 1000 miles. The road conditions are good. I have driven on A/B/M roads, as long as you don't run over the kerb, the tyres should be fine.

It's very easy to blow out. First, most of their roads (except for highways) are very narrow, and there are no sidewalks. Second, they are not used to driving on the right, so it's easy to hit the curb. I rented a car twice in 8 days, and both times I had a blowout. Fortunately, the rescue and tire change were relatively quick, and they were able to arrive and change the tire within 2 hours.
