The road into the purple sand beach is very narrow and you need to let the other car pass to go through. It costs money to enter, I think it's 10 dollars per car. I didn't see any breathtaking purple sand when I went in. There is a sand lot, and if you wipe off the top floating sand with your feet, the bottom sand will be slightly purple. If you go for the purple sand beach, I don't recommend it. If you want to take pictures of the sunset, it's okay. There is a rock that looks like a door.

I used the Map Explorer to navigate to Purple Beach, no problem. The entrance fee is $12. The road is easy to drive, but a little steep.
