In terms of the large park area, both Banff and Jasper do not require tickets, but some scenic spots and cable cars do require tickets, so they cannot be generalized.

The national park pass can be collected by car owners who have visited and transferred the annual pass. Or you can buy it directly when you drive there, at the toll booth on the highway, or at the visitor center.
