Can I drive in the UK with a translated version only? Do I need an official document to drive in Italy? Where can I apply for it? Do any friends who have applied have links? Thank you ?

UK: bring a notarized copy of your driver's license; Italy: need a notarized copy of the translated certificate

English translation is fine.

I need to go to the Italian embassy or consulate to get my driver's license certified. The rental car company will accept this certification without conditions. I will search online for detailed instructions on how to get an Italian driver's license certified.
