In Thailand, traffic cameras are basically not used for shooting violations. If you receive a fine, you just sign for it, but do not refuse to sign. After signing, you do not need to pay the fine. My relatives in Thailand told me this. However, if you refuse to sign, the traffic police will hand it over to the traffic management department, which will affect the annual inspection. Of course, the annual inspection is for Thai citizens.
